Restored sash windows in a Grade II Listed building in a Conservation area

A labour of love by the owner with a little help from ourselves delivered wonderful windows framed by wonderful Wisteria.

This project was in the local village of Holybourne – where the owner was already undertaking a complete renovation of this lovely family home. Although he had the skills to undertake the necessary works, time was of the essence and so we were engaged to provide specific help on the sliding sash windows.

The works included major repairs to the boxes with full cill replacements plus installing mouthblown cylinder glass for several cracked panes to match the old and delightfully figured glass. In addition, discrete draught proofing (as permitted on Listed Buildings) with new cords and furniture were also installed.

The results speak for themselves – wonderful windows with wonderful Wisteria!
