Fire damaged sash box repair

This was a distressing enquiry - a friend helping renovate a second-floor box sash unit managed to set light to some decayed timber. Thankfully the Fire Brigade were very prompt in attending. With the time of the essence, they cut away the affected area removing half of the box section and cill which saved the day and that was when we were contacted.

A distressing start but a happy ending and a good lesson learned!
